WP AER / KYB 48mm base nut upgrade for Ohlins Cartridges.
Over tightening the cartridge rebound adjusted into the OEM base nut can have disastrous consequences and lead to serious galling that literally locks the two together, turning a simple service into a long drawn out repair.
Racers Choice has built new updated base nuts to help eliminate the chances of this happening and for ease of identification they are color coded, Gold "AER WP" - Blue "48mm SSS".
These base nuts are made from billet 7075 and anodized for ease of cleaning, come two per package and are loaded with correct inner / outer O-rings.
